2007 ICA State Finals Competition Saturday, November 3, 2007 Congratulations JV and Varsity Cheerleaders! Our Cathedral Irish Cheerleaders did well at State Finals Competitions held at the New Castle Chrysler High School this past weekend. We give our congratulations to these young women who take part in this athletic program and who lead us in our school spirit. - The JV-9th grade Competitive Cheerleading Team took 6th place in the State. This team is comprised of: Elyse Ausenbaugh, Sam Hupp, Laura Leyden, Abby Robbins, Jennie Shipley, Madalyn Smith, Emily Stewart, Ellyn Berghoff, Shelby Day, Karlie Fletcher, Marta Goedde, Kirsten Satarino, Alyssa Schroeder, Kendra Speckman, Tarasae Stancil, Mackenzie Stark, Karissa LaGrotte, and Emily Mick. Some of these girls had been injured during the season, but came to all practices and games in support of their teammates. They also were present at the competition. Coach for the JV-9th grade team is Kara Wagner.
- The Varsity Competitive Cheerleading Team took 9th place in the State. This team is comprised of Lauren Batalis, Lauren Berghoff, Kristin Collignon, Katie Dapper, Sarah Dapper, Allyson Darragh, Krista Dechow, Mary Dowd, Kristen Fischer, Heather Graham, Elizabeth Maurath, Katie Mitsch, Jacky Painter, Molly Pitz, Allie Sobecki, Melissa Speckman, Abby Stanley, Kaylee Struewing, and Meg Stutts. Coach: Brenda Kelly.
