Children’s Play -- Charlotte's Web

Only open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors.  Prepare a one minute monologue from a published play.  You may NOT use movie monologues or random monologues from monologue books or the internet.  Monologues must be memorized! The directors may also ask you to read from the script. Rehearsals will begin on Monday, August 23.

Fall Play -- Romeo and Juliet

Only open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Freshman/Rookie Showcase (Nine, 10-minute one act plays)

Auditions only open to Freshman and/or Upperclassmen who have never had a speaking role in a CHS production. Monologues must be memorized! You may NOT use movie monologues or random monologues from monologue books or the internet. The directors may also ask you to read from the script.  Rehearsals start Tuesday, Nov. 24.

Spring Musical -- The Secret Garden

Thursday, Friday, & Saturday, April 15, 16, 17 - 7:30

Auditions are open to all CHS students.  Prepare 16 bars of vocal music. You must use prepared pieces for your audition (no “Twinkle, Twinkle”, etc.). You may not use a tape or CD accompaniment. No Disney or Wicked songs. An accompanist will be provided or you may bring your own. Prepare a one minute memorized monologue. You may NOT use movie monologues or random monologues from monologue books or the internet. There will also be a movement audition because there is some dance in the show.
