Forms of Giving

When you make an outright gift to Cathedral, your contribution can be put to work immediately - either providing funding for current programs or creating a reliable source of future income by expanding the high school's endowment.  An outright gift may be composed of almost any asset of value:

Cash Gifts
Cash gifts are the simplest and easiest gifts you can make. You can make a cash gift with cash as well as via personal check, cashier's check or money order (payable to Cathedral High School). You also can make a cash gift with your credit card or debit card. Click here to make a gift now.

Matching Gifts
Many companies will match your gift contribution, so prior to making a contribution check our database of companies to see if your company is involved.  If you do not see your company on our list and they would like to get involved please contact our advancement department at lfarley@gocathedral.com.

Recurring Gifts
Reoccurring gifts are the perfect way to show your continued support.  Through our secure online automated process you can set up to have your bank account auto draft a specified amount on a monthly or quarterly basis.

Gifts of Stock, Bonds and Securities
Gifts of securities, stocks, and bonds can provide considerable tax advantages when transferred to Cathedral High School before they are sold (in the case of appreciated holdings) or after they are sold (in the case of depreciated holdings).

Gifts of Property
Gifts of property could include personal residence, second home, income property or vacant land as well as rare books, works or art, valuable collectibles or other tangible items of demonstrable value.  Click here to find out more information on making a gift of property.

Planned Giving
Deferred or planned gifts - including bequests, life-income plans, life insurance, and other options for your estate - can help you combine your interest in making an ultimate gift to Cathedral while increasing your income, earning valuable income-tax deductions, and reducing your estate taxes.  Click here to find out more information on planned giving.

Gift Pledge
Cathedral High School welcomes your gift through a pledge - a formal statement of intention to make a gift to the High School. With a pledge, you may complete your gift by making regular payments over time, allowing you to give more generously than you originally may have considered. What is more, each payment on your pledge is eligible for an income-tax charitable deduction.

Reward Programs
There are a number of local companies and businesses throughout Indianapolis and Central Indiana that provide some great rewards programs for schools.  These programs help provide necessary supplies and funding to help advance learning in the classroom.
