Parent-Teacher Conferences

Parent-teacher conferences will be held at Cathedral on Monday, February 11, from 5 to 7p.m. School will dismiss at 2:50 p.m. on this day. Parent-teacher conferences provide an opportunity for parents to speak with teachers regarding key points of students’ progress. In case you’ve not yet attended parent-teacher conferences at Cathedral, or as a review for those who have, following are logistics and guidelines for the evening.

Conferences begin promptly at 5 p.m., and students’ schedules will be distributed in the R.V. Welch Student Activity Center (gymnasium).  Teachers will be set up alphabetically at tables in the R.V. Welch Center and in the cafeteria, with the beginning of the alphabet in the cafeteria.  There are no appointments; parents simply go to the tables of the teachers they wish to visit.  There may be a wait for some teachers.  If there is a line waiting to see a teacher, parents speaking with that teacher are asked to limit their conversations to five minutes.  If your conversation requires more than five minutes and there is a line, we ask that you please set up an appointment with the teacher for another time.

Conferences conclude at 7p.m. If you do not have the opportunity to speak with a teacher you feel you need to communicate with, please contact him or her to schedule an appointment.
