Some of you already know, we switched our online grading program from Parent Connect to Powerschool. There are some improvements in the new system and they are as follows:

• To access your grades, click on the following address: http://powerschool.cathedral-irish.org (also available from Quicklinks on our website)
• Your login ID and password are the same as your network username and password.
• All grades live 100% of the time. As soon as you teacher updates grades in their gradebook, they become live in Powerschool.
• There is no delay in Powerschool reporting. As soon as information is updated, i.e. grades, attendance, detentions, they will post in your gradebook.

On other item to mention. You will see a big "D" in the header menu. This will be where you can find your detention status. When you click on the "D", your current balance will be listed in dollars ($). We are using the lunch system for this module because of its ability to list when you received your detention, when you serve a detention, as well as keep track of your current balance (how many detentions you still have to serve) of detentions. You will make monetary payments to reduce your detention count.... 

Your parents will see the exact same information.

If you want to receive updates via email on class progress reports, click on "My Calendars" and select "subscribe" to Class of Assignments with My Scores and Final Grades column for each of you classes.
