Cathedral athletics programs are some of the best in the state, if not in the nation. We instill in our students the desire and ability to be the best—in the classroom and on the field of play.
Leadership, teamwork and commitment are just a few of the skills students can learn by being part of an athletic team and those lessons translate directly to the classroom. Commitment. Discipline. Teamwork. At Cathedral, academic excellence and athletic excellence go hand-in-hand. This past year, 419 Cathedral students participated in IHSAA sports and those students had an average GPA of 3.58. Many additional students were involved in club sports such as lacrosse, cheerleading, and rugby, bringing home city, state, and even a national championship.
